This 14 acre secluded estate on the top of Scott Hill on Orcas Island is truly an oasis. It has over 180 degrees of magnificent marine and mountain views. Enjoy the many luxury amenities like our 70-foot lap pool, complete exercise room, and hot tub -- all with fantastic views. Or listen to the birds sing while you relax in a hammock next to the ponds set in a peaceful opening in the Douglas fir forests. Then sit back, at the end of the day, with a drink and your friends and watch the sun set over the Gulf Islands.

Both the main and guest houses have vaulted beamed ceilings, stone counters, elegant built-in cabinets, and custom dining tables. A walkway bridge leads from the main house to a private guest house. Explore our woods, pick fresh fruits, herbs, and greens in our organic garden, start a campfire and enjoy the westerly views, or just pick your favorite spot to relax.

The main house has a living room with fireplace nook; a dining table that seats 12+ people; a family room; and spacious kitchen with all dishes and utensils needed to cook a gourmet meal. The two decks add space to enjoy the peaceful views. Just down the steps is the main house jacuzzi and outdoor shower - both with views to the south and west.

The Guest House has a full kitchen, dining table with seating for 8, and a cozy living area. A new deck with BBQ grill, added this June, leads to the new stone patio and hot tub nestled in the Douglas Fir forest with a view of the peaceful valley below.

Each unit has access to the lower level which contains a 70-foot lap pool, a 3/4 bath, pool table area with wet bar and refrigerator, and a fully-equipped exercise room. Also available is a picnic area with a fire ring so you can enjoy a campfire with s'mores and beautiful sunsets.

Orcas Oasis also has a lovely meadow with wildflowers, space to run or play, horseshoe pits, and 2 lovely ponds where you can relax in the hammock and enjoy the sound of the birds splashing in the water. Our large garden often has delicious greens, ripe strawberries, herbs fresh for the picking and always has fantastic westerly views.

ORCAS OASIS CAN BE RENTED ALL YEAR. This is a beautiful home to host your family's holiday festivities. Rent just the main house or just the guest house or combine both homes for maximum occupancy. Email or call for availability.

For planning sleeping capacity, the room layout is as follows:
Main House: All 3 bedrooms have queen beds. There is also a 47" futon bed and a 38" twin rollaway.
Guest House: Two rooms have queen beds. Teddy's room has a full bed. The Loft has 3 twin beds.
